Founded in 1963 by a local pastor, Freelandville Community Home began as an act of love — a husband’s wish to ensure his wife could age with dignity, surrounded by the people and places she cherished most. What started as one family’s dream quickly became a town-wide effort. Neighbors brought their tools, their time, and their hearts to help build a home where care and community would always come first.
More than sixty years later, we remain community-owned, faith-rooted, and dedicated to compassionate care in the same quiet corner of rural Indiana that’s always felt like home.
